Add to Cart (2018) is an exploration of the physical and the spiritual, through looking at the online world of Feng Shui objects. Everyday objects punctuate and populate our lives, but some seem to have direct effects on mental, emotional and spiritual states. This zine explores and maps out how these objects are situated between the physical and metaphysical, fiction and reality, man and deity.
The online platform lends these products immediacy and accessibility, while simultaneously questioning the consequences of these platforms as c a sheen of virtual wellbeing made possible through web-stores and international delivery. It is a part of a design inquiry into the various ways we understand and consume god.
